Youth Ministry Kick-off Sept. 12Youth Ministry kick-off will be Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 6:00 Ð 7:45. All youth in grades 5 thru 12 are invited to this fun night of charades, Pictionary, and the 'dreaded' karaoke machine! Faith Formation ClassesFaith Formation Classes for children in grades pre-k thru 4 begin on Monday, September 13th. If you have a child who is returning to the program, registration forms will be mailed this week. If you would like to register someone new, please call the Formation office at 724-423-5087. Bishop Lawrence E. Brandt to VisitIn observance of St. Florian's 100th Anniversary, Bishop Lawrence E. Brandt will celebrate Mass at the parish on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM. All, especially current and former members and students of the school, are invited to attend this service and the reception following. Bible Study Will Resume September 12Bible study classes will resume Sunday, September 12th at 10 A.M. in the Faith Formation Building. Ever wonder were the Bible came from? Want to learn more about your faith? Have questions on how to live your faith? Want to learn about the Catechism of the Catholic church? Make friends and be part of a Catholic support group. MISSION COOPERATIVE 2010 September 11 & 12Father Michael McCormack, O.P. Archivist at the Apostolic Nunciature, located in Washington, D.C., will be celebrating Masses at St. Florian. He will be appealing for support of the foreign missionary activities of the Dominican Friars with a focus on formation of candidates for the priesthood.
